To begin with, I would like to give special thanks to those who clicked to visit the website of NgocAnhIELTS and are reading these lines so as to understand more about me. I am very excited because of being known.
My full name is Vu Ngoc Anh. By Octember of 2014, I have taught IELTS and TOEIC for fully 2.5 years. Currently, teaching IELTS is my most significant job that I pay much attention on its development in both Ha Noi and Hai Phong. Regarding certificates, I am pretty proud of IELTS total score of 8.0 of myself with 8.5 writing and 8.0 speaking. In addition to the simple-logical-effective teaching method which is the most important factor making a difference and success of NgocAnhIELTS, then with my great IELTS score, I believe my current and future students have been and will be more confident to make decisions for joining in NgocAnhIELTS’s classes.
Many of my students and those who know about me, in fact, always feel surprised and always have a question in their mind about the reasons why I have chosen this current path while having studied a major unrelated to English before (I graduated from Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology). How about you? Maybe you also prefer to know the answer.
Only very simple story: when I was a last-year-student, in the course of my thesis, my supervisor suggested me working in collaboration with a German postgraduate in order to complete the Marketing research as regards "Evaluate the attitudes and interests of PTIT students towards English and soft skills standards for graduation”. It is undeniable that, at first, I felt really proud of. Nevertheless, not long time after that, I quickly realized my own English was limited, which led to my confusion when communicating and arguing with two foreign friends. I have repeatedly said to myself: "if only ..., I wish…” with the aim to making my situation better, but it is impossible.
Hence...! What did I do to deal with my problem? Like most of other students, actually, I also needed a big motivation to enhance my English language skills. This is due to the fact that I was a students pursuing the A block with 3 major subjects, namely Maths, Physics and Chemistry, causing the shortage of English formal background of myself. Finally, the way I chosen to resolve my trouble was to open English classes and to teach gradually from low level to high one from free courses to today I open a center and give a speech confidently in front of my all students as well as learning IELTS from a well-known English center.
Why did I decide to act like that? Because, being a teacher, confronting the students' expectations about their progress, I must compel myself to be responsible for studying deeply to find out the most efficient lesson plan and teaching methods. It was not only a pressure but also a motivation for me so as to perfect myself. Just so, I gradually found a new human being inside me through the teaching process, and recognized teaching career is for me.
The story of my early teaching life began like that, not big words. However, that is the story I want to tell my students and to share with those who frequently have inferiority feelings. Since I hope you to understand that I was a pagan to English and I conquered the IELTS, then you can also do so. Just how much determination you got and what learning method you follow.
Although each person has different personalities, thoughts and abilities, and maybe you are not able to pursue the way I have completed my own English, remember that the potential power always lurks in one, and your
mission is to explore it.
